Grilled 8 - 1 Titus
It had rained all day, but 51578 hardy fans still made it out to
The Cooking Pot.
Otema Okurut was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Tharaka Fernando and

Grilled Birds entered the field in a 2-5-3 formation. The visitors, Sunrise Treasure FC, chose to start the game with a 3-5-2 lineup. Grilled saw most attack opportunities on the wings, taking advantage of their divine (+3) (23) level with that tactic. Attacking on the wings was the choice for Grilled, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. Grilled took the lead after 27 minutes as a result of
Orest Tokarz's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 1 - 0. Proving his experience,
Orest Tokarz scored 2 - 0 for Grilled after putting some pressure on the opposing defence at a critical moment. Grilled's
Joe Reece increased the lead to 3 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 35 minutes. Grilled were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. Grilled put themselves up 4 - 0 when
Joe Reece broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Players in Grilled heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Grilled to 5 - 0 as
Joe Reece finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for
Joe Reece. It was 5 - 0 at the break. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.
After 46 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving
Chad Thach off the field.
Chia Kwang Tse took his place. Grilled's
Phua Ming Xin saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 52 minutes. The crowd roared its approval when
Dimitris Germanakos somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Titus's
Poh Yong Da 67 minutes into the game, following a good move through the middle. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's
Brian 'Was Born' Reddy increasing the lead to 6 - 0.
Phua Ming Xin increased the lead for Grilled to 7 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! 75 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
Orest Tokarz broke through, making the score 8 - 0 for Grilled. At that,
Orest Tokarz was noted down for a hat trick! With 81 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Titus showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 8 - 1 when
Poh Yong Da got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
夏 (Ha) 其材 (Qicai) gave
Damian Hutter a quick hug as he left the field.
Brian 'Was Born' Reddy became the new Grilled captain. As the 89 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution.
Aw Keng Chuan reluctantly made way for
Teo Chuan Yong on the pitch. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 2 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 8 - 1. Grilled had most of the ball, with 63 percent of possession.
Most important Grilled player was
Brian 'Was Born' Reddy.
Teo Chuan Yong on the other hand, had a terrible day. Titus's best player was
Wong Han Loong.
Justin Wong was a disappointment, however.
