Thach,
An Keng,
Khairul,
Parada -

They fielded:

Kolesov.
The teams had chosen different formations for the match. The home team, Grilled Birds, went for a 2-5-3, while Tigr has decided to play a 3-4-3 lineup. Oh dear - the keeper's made a mess of that one. The crowd was very disappointed after he let
Ihor Samitov get the go-ahead goal with a speculative shot from the right after 3 minutes. 0 - 1. After 16 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
Matej Stepan who increased Tigr's lead to 0 - 2. Only after several tries were Grilled able to break through on the left 18 minutes in, getting the ball to
Joe Reece who cockily put away the goal to make the score 1 - 2. Some hard work on the right gave Grilled a wonderful opportunity to level the score after 23 minutes, and
Brian 'Was Born' Reddy stepped up to the challenge, netting the 2 - 2 goal. The bleachers were silenced after 28 minutes when Tigr's
Sergio Montero put the guests ahead 2 - 3, following an attack on the right. A series of fine plays up the middle should have led to a goal for Grilled, but
Mohd Marzuki Khairul's shot went over the bar. Some fine one-twos on the left led to a Tigr goal with 36 minutes gone, making it 2 - 4.
Rémi Monnereau was noted down as the scorer. Halftime score was 2 - 4. Looks like Nate Silver was right again - his prediction that Grilled would have 51 percent possession in this half was spot on!
Grilled's opponents know to be wary of
Federico Parada's speed, but it made little difference as he blew past the defense 63 minutes into the match. Only the keeper could stop him - and he did with a perfectly timed dive! Tigr's
Artem Strizhov received a ball slotted perfectly through the home side's central defense after 64 minutes, and chipped it past the helpless keeper to increase the lead to 2 - 5. The away fans won't regret traveling for this one! 71 minutes into the match, the referee signaled for a Tigr substitution.
Oliver Contraş came on for
Gusztáv Hagya. Grilled's
Orest Tokarz got the home crowd going bananas when he finished off a left wing bull rush, reducing the away team's lead to 3 - 5. As the 76 minute mark approached, the Tigr manager decided it was time for a substitution.
Rémi Monnereau reluctantly made way for
Martin Renza. As the captain was no longer on the field,
Matej Stepan took over the role for Tigr. The home crowd was briefly mollified when
Orest Tokarz reduced the lead to 4 - 5 after a brilliant midfield give-and-go through the middle. 78 minutes into the game, Tigr wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Matej Stepan gave
Fortunato Hollman a quick hug as he left the field. The Tigr captaincy was handed to
Sergio Montero. The away team's
Artem Strizhov took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 81 minutes increasing Tigr's lead to 4 - 6. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 3 beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 4 - 6. Let's go to the Twittersphere to see what the fans think of the game so far! says Grilled's top performer was clearly
Federico Parada. I can't remember
Damian Hutter ever having a worse night than he just had. Most important Tigr player was
Oleg Kolesov. Speaking of stinking up the place,
Fortunato Hollman sure smelled like the bottom of Batman's shoe after a night of crimefighting in Gotham.
