SKS Miłoszewo Suwałki trundled out to the pitch in a 5-3-2 formation. The visitors, Grilled Birds, chose to start the game with a 2-5-3 lineup. A divine (20) level of counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Miłoszewo.
Robin Kimose is making an astonishing dash. The fans are chanting his name. You can hear it reverberate around the stadium. Now a manic sprint up the middle and into the box. Oh! He's thrown open the door! He's thrown open the door, shot the ball through, and slammed the door shut on Mr. Tumnus! Miłoszewo has taken the lead 13 minutes into the match, 1 to 0. There'll be no Turkish Delight after the match for the keeper! Cheers filled the stadium as
Robin Kimose broke through the visitors' central defense to put away the 2 - 0 goal for Miłoszewo. Grilled kept trying to force their way through on the right side and
Brian 'Was Born' Reddy got his chance after 40 minutes, but the home side's defense held their position and stopped the attack. Big paper red cards were being held up by the opposing supporters with 41 minutes on the clock after
Fepiku Christie's mistimed tackle from behind. The referee only showed the Miłoszewo player a yellow card though.
Federico Parada made a quick break after 42 minutes, but
Klaus Both had no problem keeping up and was able to stop the attack.
Robin Kimose stunned the crowd with a brilliant counter-attack from the left, giving Miłoszewo the goal to make it 3 - 0. One, two, three goals! That completed a hattrick for
Robin Kimose. AH! AH! AH! With 44 minutes played,
Reinder Hildering could have brought this one home for Miłoszewo as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0. Looks like Nate Silver was right again - his prediction that Grilled would have 65 percent possession in this half was spot on!
Fepiku Christie was first to reach a long ball launched through the center from Miłoszewo's defense 57 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the keeper to make the score 4 - 0. 58 minutes into the game, Miłoszewo wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Robin Kimose gave
José Luis Casiello a quick hug as he left the field. Coming in on the left,
Chia Kwang Tse did everything right to get a goal for Grilled after 64 minutes, but his curling shot was punched clear by the keeper. After 66 minutes, the defensive line of Miłoszewo created a counter-attack through the middle that gave
Reinder Hildering a good look at goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.
Lim An Keng brought the corner down with his chest before whipping it to
Chad Thach who had the whole net open before him, but his attempt hit the post. With the clock showing 80 minutes, the fourth official held up the substitution board.
Hwang Teck Fu looked to see that it was his number in red, so he made his way over to the sideline and swapped out for
Chan Ze Han, though he would have liked to continue. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 2 minutes of added time, they welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The home team's fans were upset when, after 89 minutes, the visiting
Damian Hutter broke through the central defense and got the ball past the keeper. 4 - 1 was the score. The match ends 4 - 1. Well, look at this! Cardi B is on the Enormotron in naught but giant sunglasses and a Never2L8 tank top. I've not seen anything like it before.
Fepiku Christie performed admirably for Miłoszewo. Good thing
Ulf Hägerlund isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance. The most outstanding Grilled player was without a doubt
Chan Ze Han. I can't remember
Damian Hutter ever having a worse night than he just had.
