It was obvious that Grilled had instructions to attack in the middle when they directed a break on the wing into the center of the park. A thrilling play through the middle after 21 minutes gave Grilled's Damian Hutter a chance to increase the lead, and he happily obliged. The score was then 0 - 2. Oh dear, hide the children! 23 minutes into the match, Adrien Catalan came down the left flank with a torch in one hand and a sword in the other. He's annihilated the defense and devastated the keeper! Goal for Brohult, reducing the lead to 1 - 2. Brohult's Alfredo Carranza put his head on a fantastic ball lifted in from the left, and scored after 33 minutes to bring the teams level - 2 - 2. The 33 minute mark saw the home team take a 3 - 2 lead after a breaking through on the left. The scorer for Brohult was Frans Therkelsen. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 2. Looks like Nate Silver was right again - his prediction that Grilled would have 54 percent possession in this half was spot on!

46 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Chad Thach gave Gandhik Chitre a quick hug as he left the field. 孔 (Kong) 荣恺 (Rongkai) was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Brohult's Sergio Ereinuzqueta managed to get ahold of the rebound and scored to make it 4 - 2. After 70 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the field, waving Chia Kwang Tse off. Lim An Keng took his place. Maybe Sergio Ereinuzqueta should join the aquatics team instead. He went down dramatically after 74 minutes, crying out with agony as he fell. The referee was not impressed, though, and showed him a yellow for diving. Sergio Ereinuzqueta of Brohult finished off the counter-attack from the left rather easily, making it 5 - 2. Fabian Cambier of Brohult received a yellow card after 81 minutes for unsportsmanlike behavior. The home team's lead was reduced to 5 - 3 after Grilled's Joe Reece took advantage of a misunderstanding in the center of the defense. 85 minutes into the match, the referee signaled for a Grilled substitution. Chan Ze Han came on for Joe Reece. Grilled managed to reduce their deficit as Enrique Baena finished off a well-played combination from the left, easily carving through the home team's defense after 85 minutes. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 4 minutes of added time, they welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 5 - 4. Grilled did a good job holding on to the ball, with 53 percent of possession. We'll be back after these interminable commercial messages.

Brohult's best player was Heimer Dehlbom. You can tell it was nickel beer night yesterday at the local bar because Mścigniew Ślubowski seemed to stumble all over the pitch. Grilled's top performer was clearly Chan Ze Han. Good thing Damian Hutter isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance.
