It was obvious that team Grilled had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. The home crowd cheered when, after 49 minutes, Phua Ming Xin's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Enrique Baena from Grilled a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 54 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! The counterattacks of Mayuyu were deadly and 59 minutes into the game, Antonio Olivieri received a nice pass from the right flank, making it 2 - 4. Joe Reece received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 72 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 2 - 5. The Grilled fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. 80 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Grilled, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity.
