Home team tpyers went for 3-5-2 while Grilled Birds has decided to play a 2-5-3 lineup. tpyers displayed their formidable (9) ability to play creatively. After 2 minutes, Grilled's Phua Ming Xin made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. The home crowd was not impressed when Chia Kwang Tse came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 13 minutes. Grilled were now up 0 - 2. The home crowd were delighted when Harley Heng scored with a header after an attack from the right, making the score 1 - 2. But did he use his hand? That'll be one for the pundits to talk about after the game, that's for sure! With 19 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 1 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Orest Tokarz. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Joe Reece got himself booked. The manager of Grilled was not happy. Some fine movement on the left led to a Grilled goal after 27 minutes, making it 1 - 4. Federico Parada was noted down as the scorer. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 4. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.

Phua Ming Xin was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was beautifully flicked on by Aw Keng Chuan, but the ball bounced off the post to safety. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Federico Parada from Grilled a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 56 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A lack of experience caused Foster Ito to make a difficult dribble close to dangerous opponent Joe Reece of Grilled, who took the opportunity to score making it 1 - 5. Chad Thach neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to Egemen Din�er Ferzan who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post. After 68 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Orest Tokarz to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 6. Federico Parada went down after twisting his right ankle after 71 minutes, and had to leave the pitch. Enrique Baena tried to hide a smile as he entered the field. He had not expected to get a chance this day. With Federico Parada no longer on the pitch, Aw Keng Chuan became the new set pieces taker. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, Enrique Baena took over the role of being the Grilled captain. With the scoreboard showing that 72 minutes had been played, Grilled nearly put themselves up another goal after Orest Tokarz came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. Grilled's Joe Reece made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 75 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Grilled came close to extending their lead as Phua Ming Xin delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 77 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. Sreejit Subramanian was unable to continue, following a slight injury to his left knee after 84 minutes. This gave Jaafar Zainal a chance to take to the field instead. 89 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Orest Tokarz gave Chan Ze Han a quick hug as he left the field. After 89 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Joe Reece off the field. Gandhik Chitre took his place. The referee announced 5 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. A drive down the left side allowed Enrique Baena to get in close and score another goal for Grilled after 90 minutes, taking the score to 1 - 7. The referee showed Grilled's Enrique Baena the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Yeoh Jing De went down after twisting his left ankle in minute 92, but was able to continue the match none the less. The match ends 1 - 7. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 66 percent of the ball.

tpyers's top performer was clearly Yeoh Jing De. On the other hand, Antonio Ramenghini's play was disheartening. Most important Grilled player was Chan Ze Han. Damian Hutter turned in a dismal performance, however.
