Grilled saw most attack opportunities on the wings by using their titanic (15) ability to push the attack in the right direction. Eixample were mostly trying to use their titanic (15) skill at attacking on the flanks. It was obvious that Grilled had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. Grilled made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left Lim An Keng completely alone with keeper Arkadiusz Korzeniowski, who made a spectacular block. Eixample's Marcelo Neves managed to lose the defenders as he burst through the right side and scored, putting the visitors ahead, 0 - 1. Players in Grilled heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. Due to some great work on the right wing Grilled's Gandhik Chitre was able to even the score 18 minutes in to 1 - 1. After 23 minutes cheers broke out as Lim An Keng found his way through the guests' central defensive line, rattling the 2 - 1 goal in off the woodwork for Grilled. Mohd Marzuki Khairul managed to make an excellent pass from the wing, but Lim An Keng was not as skillful and couldn't finish it off. 2 - 1 was the halftime score. The score became 3 - 1 with 50 minutes played, when Grilled were given a penalty. Chan Ze Han made no mistake and increased the home lead. After 60 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the field, waving Mohd Marzuki Khairul off.
