Halftime score was 4 - 0. Looks like Nate Silver was right again - his prediction that Grilled would have 53 percent possession in this half was spot on!

Grilled's coach was furious with Chia Kwang Tse after he picked up a yellow for saying one too many words to the ref. After more pushing and shoving than a pack of helicopter moms trying to get the last appointment for their snowflakes to see the Easter Bunny, Barnoldswick's Toni L�derach finally got himself booked for a foul. With the clock showing 60 minutes, the fourth official held up the substitution board. Mohd Marzuki Khairul looked to see that it was his number in red, so he made his way over to the sideline and swapped out for Federico Parada, though he would have liked to continue. Federico Parada managed to make an excellent pass from the wing, but Chia Kwang Tse was not as skillful and couldn't finish it off. The traveling fans had something to cheer about as Chan Ze Han took a successful penalty kick 77 minutes into the match, reducing the home lead to 4 - 1.
