Grilled 1 - 0 Ha-nam

3885 spectators had found their way to The Cooking Pot, despite the heavy rain. Adriano Meneses was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Alex von Gerlach and Tomas Raulin. For strong, physical players the heavy rain was easy to overcome, it was even an advantage given their style of play. Others, such as the quick or technical ones, made bleaker appearances. Grilled's starters: Germanakos - Panigrahi, Hutter - Ferzan, Thach, Keng Chuan, An Keng, Trindade - Chuan Yong, Ze Han, Parvathaneni.

The following players took the field for Ha-nam: Cap - Choon, Kim, Yook, Gal, Ye - Laustsen, Molina, Studziński, Multon, Canalini -.

Grilled Birds fielded a 2-5-3 lineup. For FC Ha-nam, the formation of choice was 5-5-0. Grilled clearly preferred using their titanic (15) ability to attack in the middle. The strategy for Ha-nam was to use their outstanding (10) ability to press. Ha-nam pressed their opponents, causing the game to be a bit of a stalemate at times. After 30 minutes, the Ha-nam coach made a sign to Shim-Bae Kim, who soon changed positions with Lech Studziński. A questionable penalty 36 minutes in gave the home side the lead, 1 - 0. The visitors' goalie didn't stand a chance as Bhavya Panigrahi knocked the ball home. Damian Hutter was unable to continue, following a slight injury to his left knee after 37 minutes. The replacement for the injured player was Bilal Mohammad Harun. The pressing tactics used by Ha-nam were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times. Still trailing on the score board, Ha-nam adjusted their tactics after 40 minutes. Sunghaeng Choon had a quick chat at the side line, then switched positions with Dominique Cap. Grilled's Kalki Parvathaneni got himself booked for a foul. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 72 percent of the ball.

After 46 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Chad Thach off the field. Chia Kwang Tse took his place. With things not going too well on the field, the Ha-nam coach made the decision to swap the positions of Hyuk-Min Yook and Shim-Bae Kim with 60 minutes played. Grilled had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. 70 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Bhavya Panigrahi gave Gilbert Webb a quick hug as he left the field. With Bhavya Panigrahi no longer on the pitch, Bilal Mohammad Harun became the new set pieces taker. Ha-nam's ability to press all over the field frequently paid dividends. Sensing defeat in the air, the Ha-nam manager directed Shinwa Ye and Sunghaeng Choon to change positions with each other. This was 80 minutes into the match. After 89 minutes of the match, the manager still hoped to turn things around. Joongkeun Gal was ordered to assume a different position on the pitch. He took the place of Hyuk-Min Yook, who in turn replaced his team mate. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 1 minute of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 1 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 71 percent of the time.

Grilled's best player was Chan Ze Han. However, Teo Chuan Yong made a disastrous appearance. Ha-nam's top performer was clearly Hyuk-Min Yook. On the other hand, Marciano Molina's play was disheartening.
