Grilled Birds trundled out to the pitch in a 2-5-3 formation. The visitors, Blood on the Tracks FC, chose to start the game with a 4-5-1 lineup. Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, using their utopian (19) ability to great effect. A supernatural (14) level of counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of BOTT.
José Luiz Velho of Grilled received a yellow card after 13 minutes for unsportsmanlike behavior. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Grilled, and they were successfully passing the ball from the wing into the middle at the behest of their coach. Some great play up the middle by Grilled led to a chance for
José Luiz Velho to get the go-ahead goal with 20 minutes played, but the shot hit the crossbar. Grilled made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
Chan Ze Han completely alone with keeper
Desiderio Cousido, who made a spectacular block. BOTT caught their opponents out with a clever counter-attack down the right wing 22 minutes into the game.
Kalle Henriksson was there to finish off the move - 0 - 1! BOTT's
Zavareh Eslami was shown a yellow card after 23 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Grilled set the tempo, maintaining 51 percent of possession.
As the 46 minute mark approached, the Grilled manager decided it was time for a substitution.
Kalki Parvathaneni reluctantly made way for
Lim An Keng. With the clock showing 46 minutes, the fourth official held up the substitution board.
José Luiz Velho looked to see that it was his number in red, so he made his way over to the sideline and swapped out for
Prokop Mottl, though he would have liked to continue. After 50 minutes Grilled were able to score the equalizing 1 - 1 goal when
Chan Ze Han picked up a pass coming in from the right and lofted it past the away team's keeper. Grilled's
Gilbert Webb tried to break through the middle repeatedly, but the visitors' defenders were just too alert. 64 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Grilled to take the lead after a good ball from the right found
Chan Ze Han alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. After 65 minutes, the BOTT coach wanted to see a new face on the field, waving
Zavareh Eslami off.
Mayuresh Shah took his place.
Kalle Henriksson was handed the BOTT captain's armband. Oh, it's a stupendous shot on goal! A Caravaggio! A Michelangelo! A Venus on the Half Shell! 75 minutes into the match and
Gilbert Webb has created art for the ages for Grilled, putting them ahead 2 - 1. Oh, I'm weeping. I can't stop my eyes. 80 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Bilal Mohammad Harun gave
Chia Kwang Tse a quick hug as he left the field. The match ends 2 - 1. BOTT did a good job holding on to the ball, with 52 percent of possession. We'll be back after these interminable commercial messages.
Most important Grilled player was
Chan Ze Han. I can't remember
Paulino Trindade ever having a worse night than he just had. BOTT's best player was
Stefan Gyllenér. Even six year old fans were wincing at the poor play by
Matvey Lintsov today.
