AlphaTauri 1 - 4 Grilled
It was a sunny day at the stadium today. The weather was sunny, which meant perfect conditions for technical players in both teams. However, it was also quite warm, which meant quick or physically strong players were drained faster and couldn't play their best game. Starters:

The teams had chosen different formations for the match. The home team, AlphaTauri, went for a 3-5-2, while Grilled Birds has decided to play a 2-5-3 lineup. Grilled clearly preferred using their divine (+5) (25) ability to attack in the middle today. Grilled took the lead 10 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle.
Bilal Mohammad Harun was the scorer. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Grilled, and they were successfully passing the ball from the wing into the middle at the behest of their coach. After 22 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
Kalki Parvathaneni who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 2. The home crowd was not impressed when
Abd Hadi Taib Mazhud came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 27 minutes. Grilled were now up 0 - 3. 29 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 4 as
Kalki Parvathaneni finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular bicycle kick. 0 - 4 was the score after the first half. Grilled had the upper hand in possession, maintaining an impressive 58 percent possession of the ball.
60 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Heng Dong Chu gave
Chu Xin Lee a quick hug as he left the field. Always quick and a menace to his opponents,
Modesto Carlos Guia got through after 62 minutes, but the keeper deflected his shot and a defender took care of the rebound. AlphaTauri's
Martin Harizanov was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 73 minutes. AlphaTauri's
Thiseas Mpletsas got the home crowd going bananas when he finished off a left wing bull rush, reducing the away team's lead to 1 - 4. As the 75 minute mark approached, the Grilled manager decided it was time for a substitution.
Abd Hadi Taib Mazhud reluctantly made way for
José Luiz Velho. After 78 minutes of game time,
Shekar Kannan had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, hitting a cross from the right with a half volley, but
Gian Maria Entrade was in the right place and tipped the ball to a corner.
Salah Kamel was, after 82 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the center, but the home side's keeper
Gian Maria Entrade made the save. A counter-attack by AlphaTauri after 83 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but
Thiseas Mpletsas, coming in on the left, waited too long to shoot. 85 minutes into the match, the referee signaled for a Grilled substitution.
Douglas Carapaica came on for
Sølve Lunde. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 2 minutes of added time, they welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. After more pushing and shoving than a pack of helicopter moms trying to get the last appointment for their snowflakes to see the Easter Bunny, Grilled's
José Luiz Velho finally got himself booked for a foul. The match ends 1 - 4. Grilled did a good job holding on to the ball, with 61 percent of possession. We'll be back after these interminable commercial messages.
The most outstanding AlphaTauri player was without a doubt
Octavian Petraşcu. Speaking of stinking up the place,
Tomas Gottander sure smelled like the bottom of Batman's shoe after a night of crimefighting in Gotham. Grilled's best player was
Chan Ze Han. Good thing
Chu Xin Lee isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance.
