It was to be a contest between two different football philosophies, since the home team started the game with a 3-5-2 formation while the visitors instead opted for a 2-5-3. Like the adage Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, using their divine (+4) (24) ability to great effect. An opportunity to take the lead after 18 minutes was wasted as Grilled's Bhavya Panigrahi missed a penalty, firing wide of the mark. With 19 minutes of the match played, a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but Shekar Kannan, after dashing down on goal from the left and finding himself with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. The Grilled free kick 20 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But it was no mistake - Abd Hadi Taib Mazhud seemingly came out of nowhere and had miles of space to control the ball and pick his spot. That's 0 - 1! 30 minutes into the game, Grilled worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. SportBlanc put pressure on the visitors' central defense with 34 minutes played, but Zdeněk Skalička couldn't find an opening. SportBlanc's Zdeněk Skalička put his head on a fantastic ball lifted in from the left, and scored after 38 minutes to bring the teams level - 1 - 1. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Grilled had the upper hand in possession, maintaining an impressive 63 percent possession of the ball.

Grilled's Chan Ze Han could have put the guests one up 47 minutes in after chasing a through ball from the right, but Harri Varinen was as quick as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. Despite the fact that he was falling backwards, Salah Kamel still managed to send an excellent header goalwards. The crossbar is the keeper's best friend though, and the ball bounced harmlessly out of play. 60 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Salah Kamel gave Kalki Parvathaneni a quick hug as he left the field. The referee showed Grilled's Bhavya Panigrahi the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Oh dear - the keeper's made a mess of that one. The crowd was very disappointed after he let Kalki Parvathaneni get the go-ahead goal with a speculative shot from the right after 65 minutes. 1 - 2. After 66 minutes, Andrés Moncayo rushed down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the 2 - 2 goal. With the match clock reading 75 minutes, the inexperienced SportBlanc team fell into disarray. As the 80 minute mark approached, the Grilled manager decided it was time for a substitution. Douglas Carapaica reluctantly made way for Gilbert Webb. 80 minutes into the match, the referee signaled for a Grilled substitution. Sølve Lunde came on for Abd Hadi Taib Mazhud. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 1 beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 2 - 2. Grilled set the tempo, maintaining 64 percent of possession.

Most important SportBlanc player was Yves van Ekeren. Even six year old fans were wincing at the poor play by Abramo Ferrio today. Grilled's best player was Chan Ze Han. Good thing Shekar Kannan isn't a horse, because he'd surely be sent to the glue factory after that performance.
