The teams had chosen different formations for the match. The home team, Grilled Birds, went for a 2-5-3, while Anagennisi Temprias has decided to play a 3-5-2 lineup. Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, using their divine (+7) (27) ability to great effect. Tempria's
Leandrinho de Sá Lins gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 3 minutes with a superb strike from the right. The referee showed Tempria's
Philipp Alexander Neundlinger the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
Navaz Talib's speed was almost enough to give Tempria a goal after 16 minutes, but his nice pass to
Philipp Alexander Neundlinger was not taken care of properly.
Navaz Talib increased the visitors' lead by volleying in a pass from the right. 0 - 2. The game was close to savage at times, and Tempria's
Philipp Alexander Neundlinger received a second yellow card after 36 minutes; his ticket to the dressing rooms. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Grilled set the tempo, maintaining 56 percent of possession.
It was almost a goal for Grilled following
Salah Kamel's good header from a corner kick, but the fans will have to wait a little longer as the ball went wide. After 58 minutes,
Mateja Jeftić of Grilled had a good opportunity to reduce the away team's lead with a chance created through the middle, but he scuffed the ball harmlessly past the post. 60 minutes into the match, the referee signaled for a Grilled substitution.
Sølve Lunde came on for
Douglas Carapaica. A bit of home cooking with 61 minutes gone led to a free kick for
Mateja Jeftić, who scored to make it 1 - 2. Grilled had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle instead. After 62 minutes,
Chu Xin Lee rushed down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the 2 - 2 goal. After a fine move down the middle
Chan Ze Han nearly put the home side one up with 68 minutes played. His final touch escaped him though and the keeper smothered the ball. With 70 minutes gone, Grilled's organization began to suffer due to a lack of experience. With the clock showing 80 minutes, the fourth official held up the substitution board.
Salah Kamel looked to see that it was his number in red, so he made his way over to the sideline and swapped out for
Heng Dong Chu, though he would have liked to continue. After 80 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the field, waving
Kalle ter Berg off.
吴 (Wu) 敬龙 (Jinglong) took his place. The fourth official announced that there would be 1 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 2 - 2. Grilled had the upper hand in possession, maintaining an impressive 57 percent possession of the ball.
The most outstanding Grilled player was without a doubt
Chan Ze Han. You can tell it was nickel beer night yesterday at the local bar because
Sølve Lunde seemed to stumble all over the pitch. Most important Tempria player was
Navaz Talib. I can't remember
Kjell Åsheim ever having a worse night than he just had.
