The home crowd cheered when, after 29 minutes, Vikram Mudaliar's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. Bernie Egan increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 2. With 31 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed Chu Xin Lee of Grilled to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 78 percent of the ball.

The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, Bhavya Panigrahi came on for Mateja Jeftić. With Mateja Jeftić no longer on the pitch, Bhavya Panigrahi became the new set pieces taker. After 60 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Bernie Egan to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 4. Some fine movement on the left led to a Grilled goal after 71 minutes, making it 0 - 5. Vikram Mudaliar was noted down as the scorer. Kalle ter Berg was, after 82 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper Marius Olteanu made the save. Bernie Egan's speed was almost enough to give Grilled a goal after 83 minutes, but his nice pass to Vikram Mudaliar was not taken care of properly. With 84 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 0 - 6 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Chan Ze Han. The referee showed Warri0rs's Lim Kang Tze the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 86 minutes into the game, Grilled worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. After 89 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Chu Xin Lee off the field. 吴 (Wu) 敬龙 (Jinglong) took his place.
