With 36 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 2 - 1 lead as Alexandru-Dan Buznă flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. Displaying great technique, Adam Škunda leaped towards the trajectory of the ball, deflecting it by his outstretched foot towards a team mate who had been left unmarked. Critters showed their counterattack skill 40 minutes into the match by breaking through the middle, with Andrzej Sośnica scoring uncontested for 3 - 1. Alexandru-Dan Buznă hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving Critters's Andrzej Sośnica an easy chance to knock it in for 4 - 1. The score became 5 - 1 at 44 minutes into the game, when Critters were given a penalty which Amjad Abdullateef 'A-Four' Al-Afary blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! It was 5 - 1 at the break. Critters enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

In an effort to secure the lead, Critters changed their tactic after 46 minutes. In the lead, Critters adjusted their style of play with 46 minutes gone. As the 46 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Cyril Künzler reluctantly made way for 吴 (Wu) 敬龙 (Jinglong) on the pitch. 46 minutes into the game, Grilled wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Prokop Mottl gave José Luiz Velho a quick hug as he left the field. Adam Škunda increased the lead for Critters to 6 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Coming from the right, Alfredo Biagiotti almost managed to score another goal for Critters, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. After 70 minutes, Critters sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached Sultan Ali Al-Adawy, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 7 - 1. Amjad Abdullateef 'A-Four' Al-Afary's curling free kick almost found the goal for Critters, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it. After suffering a nasty injury to his right calf muscle, Heng Dong Chu left the field in tears. The unfortunate accident happened 75 minutes into the match. Dante Tran tried to hide a smile as he entered the field. He had not expected to get a chance this day. The referee announced 4 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 7 - 1. Critters claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

Critters's top performer was clearly Andrzej Sośnica. Sultan Ali Al-Abry was a disappointment, however. Grilled's best player was 吴 (Wu) 敬龙 (Jinglong). However, Leonard Nguyen made a disastrous appearance.
