There'll be no Turkish Delight after the match for the keeper! Cheers filled the stadium as Vikram Mudaliar broke through the visitors' central defense to put away the 2 - 0 goal for Grilled. Some lightning fast dribbles by Dennis Hagell left Salah Kamel way behind after 22 minutes, but the shot was just wide. Sandro Frahm showed that Horizonte weren't done, putting the ball in the net after an opportunistic attack from the right side 26 minutes into the game. Cyril Künzler almost put Grilled ahead another goal when he curled a free kick over the defensive wall and almost into the net, but the visitors' keeper got there just in time to knock it wide. If the home side can close out the game with their lead intact, they'll have Massoud Dob to thank, after he made a stunning leap to deny Dennis Hagell from scoring the equalizer after a run through the center 37 minutes in. 2 - 1 was the score after the first half. Looks like Nate Silver was right again - his prediction that Grilled would have 53 percent possession in this half was spot on!

The score became 3 - 1 with 53 minutes played, when Grilled were given a penalty. Cyril Künzler made no mistake and increased the home lead. A free kick just outside of the visitors' penalty area after 64 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but Marek Strzemieczny got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar. With 65 minutes gone, Horizonte replied and reduced the lead to 3 - 2. Ruperto Inzunza scored after a marvelous cross from the left. The fourth official announced that there would be 2 minutes of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 3 - 2.
