It was to be a contest between two different football philosophies, since the home team started the game with a 3-5-2 formation while the visitors instead opted for 2-5-3. Grilled demonstrated their supernatural creative tactics on the field.
Carlos José looked great 8 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors'
悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita). After a fine move down the middle
Ngouda N'Dao nearly gave the home side a goal after 13 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. 24 minutes into the game,
Islom Davlatov almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, a swerving free kick by
Ivar Nordengen almost resulted in the home team taking the lead, but the shot glanced harmlessly off the frame of the goal. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
Pape Keryka got himself booked. The manager of Ole` was not happy. The visiting
José Luiz Velho was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 35 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. The home crowd was not impressed when
Bhavya Panigrahi came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 38 minutes. Grilled were now up 0 - 2.
Islom Davlatov could have put his team up another goal 39 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 60 percent of the ball.
As the 46 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution.
Mohd Jafni Abdul Majid reluctantly made way for
Jérémy Tarin on the pitch. With the scoreboard showing that 51 minutes had been played, Grilled nearly put themselves up another goal after
Prokop Mottl came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. After the ball was lifted in from the left,
Chan Ze Han was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 57 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration.
Islom Davlatov was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Grilled's
Chirag Thevar managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 0 - 3 62 minutes into the game, Grilled worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. 63 minutes into the match,
Bhavya Panigrahi came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
Islom Davlatov from Grilled a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 74 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 2 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 0 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 62 percent of the time.
Most important Ole` player was
Lassana Badji.
Daouda Sissokho on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt
Chan Ze Han. However,
Jérémy Tarin made a disastrous appearance.
