Both teams came out with a similar approach to the match, having chosen to start with a 3-5-2 formation. Grilled used their mythical ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 7 minutes allowed
Yee Jian Hui to score for Grilled. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1.
Jérémy Tarin caught everyone off guard with a great opening pass - but unfortunately
José Luiz Velho was as surprised by the move as anybody else, and managed to miss the extraordinary opportunity.
Jérémy Tarin could have added one to the visitors' lead if his free kick had gone just a little lower. After 29 minutes of play,
Nick Benninghoven equalised for Divlji after an elegant attack from the right.
Pau Canyet gave Divlji the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 2 - 1 Halftime score was 2 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Divlji, with 51 percent of the ball.

Mohd Jafni Abdul Majid reluctantly made way for
Dante Tran on the pitch. After 75 minutes,
Ato Mitchell put Divlji ahead 3 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. After 76 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Grilled found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. With 76 minutes played,
Islom Davlatov had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot from the middle flew harmlessly wide of the goal.
Antonio Zwettler was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from Divlji's defence 77 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 4 - 1. 78 minutes in, Grilled appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. After 79 minutes,

José Luiz Velho off the field.
Pompeo Bellamoli took his place. 81 minutes into the game, Grilled had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. Grilled were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally.
Dante Tran of Grilled received a yellow card after 83 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 87 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Divlji substitution.
Desmond Steadman came on for
Desmond Weatherill. As
Desmond Weatherill exited the field,
Fitzroy Mathews volunteered to be the new set pieces taker.
Mika Takalahti was handed the Divlji captain's armband.
Antonio Zwettler would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
Richie Herbert entered the game for Divlji as the match clock showed 87 minutes.
Pau Canyet would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise.
Elias Vuong entered the game for Divlji as the match clock showed 87 minutes. Most important Divlji player was
Nick Benninghoven.
Jaiveer Wankhede on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's best player was
Bernie Egan.
Pompeo Bellamoli was a disappointment, however.
