Grilled 1 - 3 United

iv id="matchReport"> The spectators didn't look too happy about the constant raining at the stadium today. While a boggy pitch like this was an advantage for physical players, it really didn't help those who relied on speed or technique. The following players had been chosen: Dob - 中北 (Nakakita), Trung Quá - Künzler, Muthyala, Mohammad Harun, Velho, Romijn - Mudaliar, Ze Han, Parvathaneni.

They fielded: Artagoitia - Benischke, Güller, Negri - Folliero, Stulla, Pfunder, Garnier, Andre - Beljean, Centurione.

It was to be a contest between two different football philosophies, since the home team started the game with a 2-5-3 formation while the visitors instead opted for 3-5-2. Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle, taking advantage of their mythical level with that tactic. United tried to focus their attacks down the middle, taking advantage of their divine level with that tactic. Grilled had a chance to take the lead after 悠太 (Yuta) 中北 (Nakakita)'s dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 3 minutes. The referee showed Grilled's José Luiz Velho the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Ambrosi 'Kopfnuss' Negri sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from Conny Stulla after 12 minutes of play, making the score 0 - 1. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for United, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. Conny Stulla received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 21 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The United fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 25 minutes, Cyril Künzler had a good opportunity to reduce the scoreline for Grilled with a chance created through the middle, but wasn't cool enough. The ball went miles over the bar. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Vikram Mudaliar" class="homeplayer">Vikram Mudaliar got himself booked. The manager of Grilled was not happy. The home team's supporters got excited again when Neeraj Muthyala broke through the visitors' central defence and caught their keeper off guard, making it 1 - 2. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. Grilled had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed Grilled's coach gave Gilbert Webb" class="homeplayer">Gilbert Webb the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Hoàng Trung Quá reluctantly left the field. Franco Folliero made one of his many fine passes from the wing into the middle 72 minutes into the match. Andrea Centurione bravely attempted to execute a diving header and the ball was met firmly with his forehead for United. 1 - 3. After 74 minutes, speedy Vikram Mudaliar" class="homeplayer">Vikram Mudaliar dashed past his marker, making plenty of room for the second wave of attack. However, Florus Romijn failed to score. Vikram Mudaliar" class="homeplayer">Vikram Mudaliar challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 80 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. United's Alexander 'das Wiesel' Andre was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 81 minutes. Chan Ze Han" class="homeplayer">Chan Ze Han charged down the left and looked sure to score for Grilled 83 minutes into the game, but his shot went just wide. The referee announced 1 minute of stoppage time, giving fans a slim hope that their team could get one more attack in before this was all over. The match ends 1 - 3. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

Grilled's best player was Kalki Parvathaneni" class="homeplayer">Kalki Parvathaneni. José Luiz Velho on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important United player was Nicolas 'das Wunder' Pfunder. Conny Stulla turned in a dismal performance, however.
