GengisKhan 3 - 2 Grilled

iv id="matchReport"> Clouds darkened the skies at the stadium today. The following players took the field: Ciampolini - Alborzian, Borg-Jensen, Folschette - von Streng, Yiannakoudakis, Michod, Hibbs, Kocheise - Diebels, Groeger.

The following players had been chosen: Dob - 中北 (Nakakita), Trung Quá - Künzler, Davlatov, Mohammad Harun, Xin Lee, Romijn - Mudaliar, Ze Han, Parvathaneni.

The teams had chosen different formations for the match. Home team Gengis'Khan went for 3-5-2 while Grilled Birds has decided to play a 2-5-3 lineup. Grilled used their magical ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 2 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Sandro Hibbs, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. After 20 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after Vikram Mudaliar" class="awayplayer">Vikram Mudaliar made it through the middle and struck home to make it 1 - 1. 28 minutes in, GengisKhan appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only solid. Gerhard Kocheise managed to make an excellent pass from the wing, but Tristan Michod was not as skillful and couldn't finish it off. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Björn Diebels, but the GengisKhan player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 2 - 1! 37 minutes into the game, GengisKhan seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to solid. The GengisKhan free kick 38 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of Tomas von Streng, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 3 - 1! 42 minutes into the game, GengisKhan had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to passable. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Grilled, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. Chu Xin Lee" class="awayplayer">Chu Xin Lee had a couple of good opportunities to reply after getting through the middle of the opposition defence, but the home team's keeper Nicola Ciampolini was simply unbeatable. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 52 percent of the ball.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of GengisKhan was able to get his message across, and raised GengisKhan's organisation to solid. Grilled needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes Hoàng Trung Quá made way for Gilbert Webb" class="awayplayer">Gilbert Webb. Grilled had a fair chance to reply after 63 minutes due to some fine moves down the left, but in the end Vikram Mudaliar" class="awayplayer">Vikram Mudaliar was slow to keep up with the play and was unable to make it into the penalty box to apply a finish. After 68 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as GengisKhan found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. At 74 minutes, the visitors got a chance to reduce the score when a penalty was awarded, but Cyril Künzler, intimidated by the crowd, missed it. Grilled were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. A bit later, Grilled's Islom Davlatov easily reduced the lead to 3 - 2 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Grilled's Chu Xin Lee" class="awayplayer">Chu Xin Lee was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 89 minutes. José Luiz Velho was given a chance to change things around. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 1 minute beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 3 - 2. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

GengisKhan's top performer was clearly Gabriel Groeger. On the other hand, Heinz Borg-Jensen's play was disheartening. Kalki Parvathaneni" class="awayplayer">Kalki Parvathaneni performed admirably for Grilled. José Luiz Velho turned in a dismal performance, however.
