Empoli 4 - 1 Grilled

iv id="matchReport"> Weather conditions were pretty good for football today. Starters: Kaliński - Foroughi, Schrock, Tackmann - Huigen, Pelzmann, Tomčić, Viaene, Hospod - Dijan, Milionis.

Lineup: Dob - 中北 (Nakakita), Trung Quá - Künzler, Davlatov, Mohammad Harun, Xin Lee, Romijn - Mudaliar, Ze Han, Parvathaneni.

It was to be a contest between two different football philosophies, since the home team started the game with a 3-5-2 formation while the visitors instead opted for 2-5-3. Grilled clearly preferred using their magical ability to attack in the middle. Leonardo Pelzmann always provides an aerial threat at corners, and with 8 minutes gone, he demonstrated this, outjumping his marker, then letting out an anguished howl as his powerful header went narrowly wide. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 26 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from Nektarios Milionis, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Cheers filled the stadium as Ghanbar Foroughi broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to Empoli. 2 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Empoli, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed Grilled's coach gave Gilbert Webb" class="awayplayer">Gilbert Webb the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Hoàng Trung Quá reluctantly left the field. Empoli solidified their lead at the 47 minute mark, as Dieudonné Viaene dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 0. Chan Ze Han" class="awayplayer">Chan Ze Han had a couple of good opportunities to reply after getting through the middle of the opposition defence, but the home team's keeper Damian Kaliński was simply unbeatable. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Ghanbar Foroughi squirmed through their central defence after 60 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 0. A scuffle developed as players from both sides clashed following a tussle in the centre of the field 71 minutes into the match. After regaining order and consulting his linesman, the referee called Empoli's Samuel Huigen to one side and produced a red card for the player. 78 minutes into the match, Grilled replied and reduced the lead to 4 - 1. Cyril Künzler scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. The referee decided to let play continue for an additional 2 minutes beyond the regular 90 minutes. The match ends 4 - 1. Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.

Empoli's top performer was clearly Joso Dijan. Ghanbar Foroughi turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Kalki Parvathaneni" class="awayplayer">Kalki Parvathaneni. However, Florus Romijn made a disastrous appearance.
