Florus Romijn was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was beautifully flicked on by Chu Xin Lee" class="awayplayer">Chu Xin Lee, but the ball bounced off the post to safety. Grilled's Florus Romijn could have put the guests one up after 39 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but Daniel Ferreira was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. Many thought Sacha van Wijngaarden ought to have been awarded a penalty 43 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around Massoud Dob after a determined run through the middle. It was 1 - 1 at the break. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

46 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Gilbert Webb" class="awayplayer">Gilbert Webb came on for Hoàng Trung Quá. 58 minutes in, Camels's Younes Dehdar received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After 59 minutes, Grilled's Chan Ze Han" class="awayplayer">Chan Ze Han made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 1 - 2. As the 80 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Vikram Mudaliar" class="awayplayer">Vikram Mudaliar reluctantly made way for Neeraj Muthyala on the pitch. After 89 minutes, Grilled began to show their lack of experience and they threatened to wilt under the heavy pressure from their opposition. The match ends 2 - 2. Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.

Rafał Leniec performed admirably for Camels. José Sáenz was a disappointment, however. Grilled's best player was Chan Ze Han" class="awayplayer">Chan Ze Han. Florus Romijn on the other hand, had a terrible day.
