Grilled 7 - 4 Banana

iv id="matchReport"> 4229 punters turned up at The Cooking Pot, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Daniel R. Henriksson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jeremy Kauth and Lars Mischa Arntz. They fielded: Seng - Tarin, bin Ahmad - van der Ban, Velho, Pećanić, Thevar, Tran - Xin Lee, Saliman, Eshrafi.

Starters: Henríquez - Chirinos, Eshkol, Ovalles - Azocar, Benítez, Krotil, Hidalgo - Kim, Gozinski, Isturiz.

Grilled Birds started the game in a 2-5-3 formation, whereas Banana FC 2015 lined up in a 3-4-3 formation. It was an obvious ambition of Banana to use their brilliant ability at attacking on the flanks. Grilled took the lead, 1 - 0, after a penalty 6 minutes into the match. Jérémy Tarin scored from the penalty spot. 8 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Chirag Thevar" class="homeplayer">Chirag Thevar broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Grilled. 16 minutes into the game, Banana seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. 19 minutes into the game, Grilled were awarded a penalty that Jérémy Tarin turned into 3 - 0 without a problem. With 27 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Banana showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 3 - 1 when Pavel Krotil got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. Banana had a fair chance to reply after 31 minutes due to some fine moves down the left, but in the end Ibrahim Azocar was slow to keep up with the play and was unable to make it into the penalty box to apply a finish. 33 minutes into the match, Banana replied and reduced the lead to 3 - 2. Ibrahim Azocar scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. 3 - 2 was the halftime score. Grilled had most of the ball, with 65 percent of possession.

The Banana players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a solid organisation when the game started again. Grilled increased the lead as Mohammad Ramli Saliman struck to make the score 4 - 2 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. 63 minutes in, Banana appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only inadequate. The home team's fans were upset when, after 66 minutes, the visiting Pavel Krotil broke through the central defence and kicked the ball past the keeper. 4 - 3 was the score. Grilled put themselves up 5 - 3 when Ahmed Pećanić broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. 76 minutes into the match, Banana's Alirio Hidalgo popped up from nowhere, cheekily stole the ball off an opposition player and scored. 5 - 4. Grilled's Chirag Thevar" class="homeplayer">Chirag Thevar increased the lead to 6 - 4, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 77 minutes. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let Chan Ze Han" class="homeplayer">Chan Ze Han replace Ahmed Pećanić after 80 minutes. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Grilled scored another to make it 7 - 4 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for Dante Tran" class="homeplayer">Dante Tran after 81 minutes. 82 minutes into the game, Banana seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. Jérémy Tarin wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Mohd Jafni Abdul Majid" class="homeplayer">Mohd Jafni Abdul Majid after 88 minutes. As Jérémy Tarin left the field, the coach signaled to Remco van der Ban to be the new set pieces taker. The players were tired, but when the referee announced that there would be 3 minutes of added time they, nonetheless, welcomed the extra opportunity to make an impact. The match ends 7 - 4. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 67 percent of the time.

The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Mohammad Ramli Saliman. However, Dan Seng made a disastrous appearance. Pavel Gozinski performed admirably for Banana. Freddy Henríquez turned in a dismal performance, however.
