Grilled took the lead 13 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Grilled were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. The visitors didn't give in and, after 32 minutes, A. Kliukaitis got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 1 - 1. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

With 50 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 2 - 1 lead as M. bin Mohd Kassim flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's L. Lee Hao increasing the lead to 3 - 1. The referee showed Pahorky's J. Villars the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Grilled's G. Filippone got himself booked for a foul. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. A. Leong Kum squirmed through their central defence after 67 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 1. The bench was restless, and with 70 minutes passed Pahorky's coach gave R. Truneček the opportunity the player had been hoping for. A. Mayer reluctantly left the field. L. Lee Hao could have increased the lead after 75 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. J. Villars's lightning pace was too much for G.
