Shining 4 - 0 Grilled

iv id="matchReport"> The 79683 fans in attendance at Blackout Arena were roasting in the hot sun. Miguel Barbacana was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Vizgirdas Jurijonas and Valerio Mastrangelo. Shining tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. The following players took the field: Ledin - Aranđelović, Dang, Kamil, Balouch - Qutugh, Nie Tong, Ženíšek, Kwang Chin, Burgos - Majdawi.

Grilled started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. Starters: Tian Han - Lee Hao, Filippone - Ping Shun, Shun An, 长春 (Changchun), Meyer, Jing Wei - bin Mohd Kassim, 勇航 (Yonghang) , Ying Lee.

21 minutes into the game, a swerving free kick by F. Balouch almost resulted in the home team taking the lead, but the shot glanced harmlessly off the frame of the goal. 32 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Shining was I. Kamil. The home side's F. Balouch came close to extending the lead 37 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but W. Tian Han managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Shining had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

A. Burgos didn't pace himself at all, and after a series of daring offensive runs he was too tired to help out in the defensive play. Given a free kick close to the byline, Shining tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let O. Majdawi slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 2 - 0, 59 minutes into the game. The corner kick from F. Balouch was powerfully met by the head of J. Ženíšek to make the score 3 - 0. J. Ženíšek could have increased the lead after 66 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Shining's J. Ženíšek refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 71 minutes. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Shining's J. Ženíšek increasing the lead to 4 - 0. After this, you could see that the players of Shining were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. C. Ying Lee could've grabbed a goal for Grilled 81 minutes in when he got a pass from the left putting him free of the home side's defence, but he was unable to take advantage of the situation. L. Lee Hao had a couple of good opportunities to reply after getting through the middle of the opposition defence, but the home team's keeper U. Ledin was simply unbeatable. With 89 minutes played, the Grilled coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. N. Vandeneynde came on, G. Filippone had to leave the fray. Shining enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

Shining's best player was O. Majdawi. T. Qutugh on the other hand, had a terrible day. 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) performed admirably for Grilled. N. Vandeneynde turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
