Penguins 5 - 2 Grilled

iv id="matchReport"> Clouds darkened the skies at The Igloo Dome as 79308 spectators turned up for the match. Frederico Miranda was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Timmy Halling and Sascha Hechenbichler. Penguins decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. They fielded: Balikân - Haul, Polani, Náray - Yeng Meng, Li Long, 晓楠 (Xiaonan) , Cheng Min, Negoiţă - Aykal, Irace.

A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Grilled. The following players took the field: Tian Han - Lee Hao, Filippone - Ping Shun, Jing Wei, Shun An, 长春 (Changchun), Meyer - bin Mohd Kassim, 勇航 (Yonghang) , Ying Lee.

Grilled tried to focus their attacks down the middle. Penguins's B. Irace showed his experience, anticipating the outcome of the opponent's defensive clearance and positioning himself perfectly to volley in an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box. 1 - 0. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Penguins's M. Yeng Meng increasing the lead to 2 - 0. The home team's fans were upset when, after 28 minutes, the visiting M. bin Mohd Kassim broke through the central defence and kicked the ball past the keeper. 2 - 1 was the score. After 37 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by J. Náray might have resulted in another goal for Penguins. However, W. Tian Han made a spectacular save. Some brilliant football from the visitors' right wing resulted in a levelling of the score as Grilled's 朱. 长春 (Changchun) put the ball in the onion bag after 41 minutes to make it 2 - 2. L. Li Long gave Penguins the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 3 - 2 The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 2. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

The referee showed Grilled's G. Filippone the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Penguins's J. Náray got himself booked for a foul. 66 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as B. Irace broke through, making the score 4 - 2 for Penguins. It might be a while before the fans see Grilled's W. Tian Han again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 70 minute mark. He was replaced by K. Rykowski. Penguins's B. Irace was shown a yellow card after 81 minutes for slicing down an opponent. After 82 minutes, Penguins sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached B. Irace, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 5 - 2. That made three goals for B. Irace and he was marked down for the hat trick. Confident in their lead, Penguins's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 83 minutes in, Grilled's C. Ying Lee received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Penguins had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Most important Penguins player was B. Irace. A. Haul on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's top performer was clearly 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) . However, K. Rykowski made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 5 - 2.
