At the beginning of the game, Grilled appeared to have already taken this victory to the bank. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 16 minutes into the match, and W. Ping Shun wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. R. van der Ban of Grilled received a yellow card after 23 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. After 23 minutes, Grilled's R. van der Ban burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. After 25 minutes, W. Ping Shun sent the corner kick right to C. Meyer who headed it sharply past the keeper. 0 - 3! M. bin Mohd Kassim of Grilled took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 27 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 4. Confident in their lead, Grilled's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 30 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 5 as M. bin Mohd Kassim finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. It was 0 - 5 at the break. Grilled had most of the ball, with 87 percent of possession.

The visitors' 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 73 minutes into the match. 0 - 6 for Grilled. Some fine movement on the left led to a Grilled goal after 74 minutes, making it 0 - 7. 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) was noted down as the scorer. After 76 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave W. Ping Shun a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 8. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave F. Wei Tze from UNITED a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 77 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A drive down the left side allowed R. van der Ban to get in close and score another goal for Grilled after 79 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 9. R. van der Ban left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 85 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Q. Madaini was the replacement. The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. C. Ying Lee wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for L. Wan Kang after 85 minutes. A penalty was awarded after 85 minutes, and W. Ping Shun made the most of his chance to put Grilled up by another goal. 0 - 10 for the visitors. By then W. Ping Shun had scored three goals - a hat trick! The referee signalled a penalty 86 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. W. Ping Shun knocked it home to make the score 0 - 11. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let D. Seng replace W. Tian Han after 89 minutes. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 90 percent of the time.

UNITED's top performer was clearly E. Ho. L. Ah Dong turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt M. bin Mohd Kassim. D. Seng was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 11.
