Benfleet 1 - 3 Grilled

iv id="matchReport"> Clear skies welcomed the 5731 spectators who had made their way to Estádio da Luz. Heiko Hoser was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Mark Valgaeren and Bogdan Nicula. The match took place on neutral ground. Benfleet had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. Lineup: Mansilla - Kinigadner, Monod, Clarembaux, Rissala - Jian Yi, Jaguarão, Dunčko, Løvelund - Radola, Boca.

Grilled tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination. Starters: Rykowski - bin Ahmad, Cisquell - 福泉 (Fuquan) , bin Mohd Kassim, 勇航 (Yonghang) , Meyer, Ying Lee - Bellamoli, van der Ban, Wan Kang.

Grilled tried to focus their attacks down the middle. 4 minutes into the game, 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. The cannonball from 35 metres by C. Meyer of Grilled was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. R. Jaguarão dispatched a majestic long shot 16 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. L. Wan Kang came close to putting the visiting team one up 35 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but H. Mansilla managed to tip the ball to a corner. Some great play up the middle by Benfleet led to a chance for M. Radola to score after 36 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. Benfleet were very close to putting themselves one up after 37 minutes as C. Dunčko got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. Grilled's L. Wan Kang got himself booked for a foul. Halftime score was 0 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 73 percent of the ball.

46 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Grilled substitution. Q. Madaini came on for J. Cisquell. After 46 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving 凌. 福泉 (Fuquan) off the field. W. Ping Shun took his place. Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. Grilled had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 47 minutes in when Q. Madaini came up alone against H. Mansilla who managed a block. Benfleet's counterattacks were lethal to the opposing defence, allowing C. Dunčko to score easily from the right flank for 1 - 0. M. bin Mohd Kassim tied the game at 1 - 1 after 55 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right. Grilled's R. bin Ahmad managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 65 minutes. 1 - 2. The bench was restless, and with 71 minutes passed Benfleet's coach gave F. Töröter the opportunity the player had been hoping for. D. Monod reluctantly left the field. The home crowd was not impressed when C. Ying Lee came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 80 minutes. Grilled were now up 1 - 3. Confident in their lead, Grilled's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 82 minutes into the game, K. Rissala had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came J. Mendes. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 75 percent of the time.

G. Boca performed admirably for Benfleet. On the other hand, J. Mendes's play was disheartening. Grilled's best player was W. Ping Shun. K. Rykowski on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 3.
