R.ChamWin 0 - 4 Grilled

ChamWin tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Bancken - Vinković, Golcheen, Pihllius - Stojković, Kwang Shi, Rigot, Gochev, bin Abd Majid - Vacid, O'Riordan.

A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Grilled. Starters: Seng - bin Ahmad, 力勇 (Liyong) - Jing Wei, 长春 (Changchun), Shun An, 尊文 (Zunwen), Shaahee - bin Mohd Kassim, 勇航 (Yonghang), Ying Lee.

Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 4 minutes into the match, and 卢. 尊文 (Zunwen) wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. After 26 minutes, Grilled's Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. After 37 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 3. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

The home side worked their way through the middle and almost got one back when Zainuddin bin Abd Majid tried to sneak the ball past the keeper. Dan Seng was too alert for that! The bench was restless, and with 60 minutes passed R.ChamWin's coach gave Ottokar Dankner the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Sabri Vacid reluctantly left the field. The visitors' 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 64 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Grilled. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Grilled lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Shiya Shaahee wanted to play on, but the Grilled coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 70 minutes into the game by Djan Bacelar. 80 minutes into the match, Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 82 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Leong Wan Kang was the replacement. With 83 minutes played, Zainuddin bin Abd Majid was very close to reducing the score for R.ChamWin with a low drive from the left, but a defender stuck his foot out just in the nick of time, blocking the shot to a corner. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

Most important R.ChamWin player was Jonathan Rigot. Timothy Bancken turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Chow Ying Lee. On the other hand, Dan Seng's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 4.
