Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. Manchester were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. Grilled had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. Grilled broke through on the left 29 minutes into the game, with 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. Players in Manchester heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. The visitors' Constantin Buda was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 1 - 1 after 31 minutes. Grilled took the lead 35 minutes into the game by 2 - 1, as 田. 勇航 (Yonghang) elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Seytek Djekshenkulov from Grilled a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 36 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Manchester tied it all up, 37 minutes in, after a spectacular goal by Renato Vinigiu, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 2 - 2. Grilled could have put themselves ahead after 39 minutes but Chow Ying Lee missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. 2 - 2 was the halftime score. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

As the 46 minute mark approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution. Gleb Dorogan reluctantly made way for Abdul bin Jantan on the pitch. Grilled took the lead 61 minutes in, as Chow Ying Lee broke through on the left and put the 3 - 2 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. 62 minutes into the match the visitors levelled the score at 3 - 3 as J. Argimón struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. After 72 minutes, Manchester put themselves up 3 - 4, as Vittorio Bellorini finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. With the scoreboard clock showing 73 minutes, the inexperienced Manchester team fell into disarray. With 80 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed Volkhardt Steinboeck of Manchester to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 3 - 5. Grilled were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. Grilled's fans were urging them forward as they tried to get back into the game, and their vocal support was rewarded 81 minutes into the match as 朱. 长春 (Changchun) ran onto a beautiful ball played through the visitors' defence and slotted it past the keeper to reduce the deficit. 4 - 5. With 82 minutes played, Manchester put themselves up 4 - 6 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Timmo Thode. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim performed admirably for Grilled. Abdul bin Jantan was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Manchester player was without a doubt Valentin Bugaev. On the other hand, Basilio Lazzaretto's play was disheartening. The match ends 4 - 6.
