The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Grilled's Chow Ying Lee after 2 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. After 6 minutes, Settimio Franceschini made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 1 - 1. The terraces were silenced after 15 minutes when Grilled's Qassem Madaini put the guests ahead 1 - 2, following an attack on the right. Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 1 - 3. The home crowd were delighted when Settimio Franceschini scored with a header after an attack from the right, making the score 2 - 3. But did he use his hand? That'll be one for the pundits to talk about after the game, that's for sure! It was 2 - 3 at the break. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

After 48 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for 凌 (Ling) 福泉 (Fuquan) who increased Grilled's lead to 2 - 4. A marvellous Fafane effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 61 minutes by Settimio Franceschini, making the score 3 - 4. This third goal completed a hattrick for Settimio Franceschini. The corner kick from Qassem Madaini was powerfully met by the head of Seytek Djekshenkulov to make the score 3 - 5. Confident in their lead, Grilled's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 75 minutes, Alex Fonseca came on for Shiya Shaahee. Fafane supporters cheered as good work down the right got the ball to Settimio Franceschini who reduced the visitors' lead after 79 minutes to 4 - 5. Qassem Madaini left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 80 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Rashid bin Ahmad was the replacement. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, Alex Fonseca took over the role of being the Grilled captain. Grilled had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

Settimio Franceschini performed admirably for Fafane. Renato Navarrini was a disappointment, however. Grilled's best player was 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang). On the other hand, Alex Fonseca's play was disheartening. The match ends 4 - 5.
