Floydianos 10 - 1 Grilled
ear skies welcomed the 5018 spectators who had made their way to The Trial.
Raúl Ruiz Merino was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Adesvara Sadagopan and
Jeffrey Clegg. Floydianos had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players took the field: Valença - Eusweg, Abate, Spica, Duquesne - Geisenhauser, Tschan, Lerby, Lah - Novello, Kyselý.
Grilled decided to use a 2-5-3 set up. The following players had been chosen: Noubaryan - Bakhtiar, Awyong - 福泉 (Fuquan) , bin Mohd Kassim, 尊文 (Zunwen) , 勇航 (Yonghang) , 力勇 (Liyong) - Bellamoli, Bacelar, Wan Kang.
After 18 minutes of play,
Kenny Lerby gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. With 27 minutes played, Floydianos put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
Samuele Novello, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Morale on the visitors' bench was greatly improved when their
Colby Awyong reduced the lead to make it 2 - 1 after 31 minutes, following a pass from the right. 33 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
Kenny Lerby broke through, making the score 3 - 1 for Floydianos. After this, you could see that the players of Floydianos were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 3 - 1 was the score after the first half. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.
With 46 minutes played, the Grilled coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
Chow Ying Lee came on,
田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) had to leave the fray.
Hovaness Noubaryan became the new Grilled captain. A well-executed free kick by
Samuele Novello after 50 minutes made it 4 - 1 for Floydianos. Floydianos managed to extend their lead to 5 - 1 when
Robin Kyselý cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. After 64 minutes, Floydianos raised their score by one when
Abdoul Lah's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by
Robin Kyselý. 6 - 1.
Rafael Abate left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 65 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
Urs-Ulrich Hühnlein was the replacement.
Nick Tschan increased the lead for Floydianos to 7 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Floydianos bypassed the midfield with their counterattack, leading to a free kick goal by
Samuele Novello for 8 - 1. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for
Samuele Novello. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Grilled's
Djan Bacelar was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 80 minutes.
Gleb Dorogan was given a chance to change things around. There was concern in the stands when, at the 82 minute mark, Floydianos's
Kenny Lerby hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Floydianos to 9 - 1 as
Francisco Spica finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. The bench was restless, and with 85 minutes passed Grilled's coach gave
Rashid bin Ahmad the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
Colby Awyong reluctantly left the field. After 86 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
Robin Kyselý gave the Floydianos supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 10 - 1. At that,
Robin Kyselý was noted down for a hat trick! Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Floydianos, with 51 percent of the ball.
Floydianos's best player was
Urs-Ulrich Hühnlein.
Francisco Spica was a disappointment, however. Most important Grilled player was
卢 (lu) 尊文 (Zunwen) .
Hovaness Noubaryan on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 10 - 1.
