It was an obvious ambition of Dodogado to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Grilled tried to focus their attacks down the middle. The visiting 朱 (Zhu) 长春 (Changchun) was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 4 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. The crowd was on its feet 7 minutes into the match, as Dodogado's 胡 (Hu) 尔江 (Erjiang) found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 1 - 1 equaliser. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Seytek Djekshenkulov got himself booked. The manager of Grilled was not happy. Dodogado took the lead 18 minutes into the game by 2 - 1, as Pablo Gabriel Sena elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. Grilled had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

Pablo Gabriel Sena almost put Dodogado ahead another goal when he curled a free kick over the defensive wall and almost into the net, but the visitors' keeper got there just in time to knock it wide. With 52 minutes played, Dodogado put themselves up 3 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Pablo Gabriel Sena, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. With 55 minutes played, the Grilled coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Abdul bin Jantan came on, Alex Fonseca had to leave the fray. It was obvious that Dodogado had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Dodogado lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The home team's fans were upset when, after 60 minutes, the visiting 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) broke through the central defence and kicked the ball past the keeper. 4 - 2 was the score. With 69 minutes played, Lokman Esenboğa of Dodogado fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Grilled had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. With 73 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Grilled showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 4 - 3 when Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. As the match clock reached 83 minutes, Dodogado's organisation began to suffer due to a lack of experience. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Dodogado coach let Toader-Vasile Ciobanu replace Ángel Badillo after 85 minutes. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

The most dominating Dodogado player was without a doubt 胡 (Hu) 尔江 (Erjiang). Ştefan-Gabriel Popa turned in a dismal performance, however. Grilled's top performer was clearly 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang). On the other hand, Dan Seng's play was disheartening. The match ends 4 - 3.
