Grilled 6 - 1 never

brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 67169 to The Cooking Pot. Idomeneas Farakopoulos was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Christiaan Ernes and Jaakko-Pekka Parkkinen. Everyone was excited about the upcoming Jurong derby and the crowd was divided evenly. Grilled started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. They fielded: Kryus - 福泉 (Fuquan) , Madaini - Shaahee, 尊文 (Zunwen) , Shun An, Djekshenkulov, bin Jantan - bin Mohd Kassim, 勇航 (Yonghang) , Ying Lee.

never decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. Starters: Riis - Yeng Shun, Soon Chao, Chan, bin Mahamad - Cana, Arrieta Martínez, Tian Xin, Siñeriz - Petter, Radenne.

never seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why Shiya Shaahee found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. Grilled took the lead 14 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as Chow Ying Lee elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Grilled's Chow Ying Lee increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 23 minutes. Grilled's Chow Ying Lee proved that he's been around on a football pitch before, when he took advantage of a few moments of confusion in the opposition's defensive line and elegantly scored for 3 - 0. That made three goals for Chow Ying Lee and he was marked down for the hat trick. Confident in their lead, Grilled's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Chow Ying Lee from Grilled a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 30 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Jason Chan's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for never, he bravely continued in the match. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's Shiya Shaahee increasing the lead to 4 - 0. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. Grilled had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

Grilled solidified their lead at the 56 minute mark, as Abdul bin Jantan dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 5 - 0. After 62 minutes, 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) put Grilled ahead 6 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. 74 minutes into the match, never replied and reduced the lead to 6 - 1. Goo Soon Chao scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim had a fantastic opportunity to put Grilled up another goal 80 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. The coach of Grilled was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 88 minutes, Alex Fonseca came on for Shiya Shaahee. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.

Grilled's best player was 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) . Edmund Kryus was a disappointment, however. never's top performer was clearly Max Radenne. Kalle Riis on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 1.
