Grilled clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. After 6 minutes, Grilled's Seytek Djekshenkulov made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. After 7 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for 卢 (lu) 尊文 (Zunwen) who increased Grilled's lead to 0 - 2. Grilled's 朱 (Zhu) 长春 (Changchun) was shown a yellow card after 8 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 11 minutes had been played and the home team was awarded a penalty. The guests' keeper dived the right way, but Lóránt Somogyi was still able to reduce the score to 1 - 2. Woon Shun An increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 1 - 3. After 50 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave Seytek Djekshenkulov a chance to increase the lead for Grilled, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 4. Grilled players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) was, after 77 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper Mok Kim Sze made the save. With 79 minutes played, 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Christian Casablanca challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 82 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball.
