Dariusz Musiatowicz increased the lead for CCP to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! The home team's fans were upset when, after 26 minutes, the visiting 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) broke through the central defence and kicked the ball past the keeper. 2 - 1 was the score. 39 minutes in, Grilled's Shiya Shaahee received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The player down was Soon Yew Yeng. The CCP bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. 2 - 1 was the halftime score. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 72 percent of possession.

田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) made a good effort at breaking through on the right, but the home team's left defence cleared the ball to a corner. A foul called during a CCP counterattack resulted in a great chance to score, but Mohd Ali bin Abu Bakar's shot rattled off the post. The CCP players could smell victory in the air. Yap Loong Dong wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Iskandar Zulkernain bin Saidi after 60 minutes. Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim came close to levelling the score 68 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post. The coach of CCP was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 70 minutes, Denis Stevens came on for Quah Boon Min. CCP's Luigi Leanza refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 72 minutes. 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 2 - 2 81 minutes into the match. Grilled's 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) left the field after 82 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was Leong Wan Kang. CCP were very close to putting themselves one up after 85 minutes as Soon Yew Yeng got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. Chow Ying Lee of Grilled was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish Iskandar Zulkernain bin Saidi, which resulted in a goal making the score 2 - 3. After 87 minutes, Grilled's Shiya Shaahee burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 2 - 4. 凌 (Ling) 福泉 (Fuquan) wanted to play on, but the Grilled coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 88 minutes into the game by 林 (Lin) 俊桂 (Jungui). Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let Alex Fonseca replace Abdul bin Jantan after 88 minutes. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, CCP's Javier Mesa was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 88 minutes. Ioan Diaconescu was given a chance to change things around. Ioan Diaconescu was handed the CCP captain's armband. 朱 (Zhu) 长春 (Changchun) came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. The home crowd cheered when, after 89 minutes, Chow Ying Lee's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 69 percent of the time.

The most dominating CCP player was without a doubt Mohd Ali bin Abu Bakar. Ioan Diaconescu was a disappointment, however. Most important Grilled player was Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim. On the other hand, Leong Wan Kang's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 4.
