Grilled 3 - 3 Jurong

3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Grilled. Starters: Stacey - 福泉 (Fuquan), 俊桂 (Jungui), Madaini - 长春 (Changchun), Shun An, 尊文 (Zunwen), Djekshenkulov - bin Mohd Kassim, 勇航 (Yonghang), Ying Lee.

Jurong decided to use a 5-3-2 set up. Lineup: Filippin - Fu Kok, 晨熙 (Chenxi), Yurretauria, Dursun, Eresch - Rojowski, Mihaiu, Gaiser - Gourichon, Rauvala.

Grilled seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Jurong. Grilled were awarded a penalty after 2 minutes of play, but Qassem Madaini's shot skimmed just wide. After 9 minutes, Adi Viorel Mihaiu sent the corner kick right to Georg Eresch who headed it sharply past the keeper. 0 - 1! 20 minutes into the game, Jurong seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to solid. Jurong increased their lead after 21 minutes when 廖 (Liao) 晨熙 (Chenxi) broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 2, much to the home crowd's dismay. 28 minutes into the game, Jurong had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. Grilled's fans were urging them forward as they tried to get back into the game, and their vocal support was rewarded 32 minutes into the match as 凌 (Ling) 福泉 (Fuquan) ran onto a beautiful ball played through the visitors' defence and slotted it past the keeper to reduce the deficit. 1 - 2. After 33 minutes, Jurong sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached Rouven Gaiser, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 3. 1 - 3 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 61 percent of the ball.

A review of the gameplan helped Jurong get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. 63 minutes into the game, Grilled seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. Ang Fu Kok spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch. Grilled refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, 卢 (lu) 尊文 (Zunwen) managed to slip the ball home for 2 - 3. A handball in the penalty area gave the home team a penalty 80 minutes into the match, and Qassem Madaini was able to score, taking the scoreline to 3 - 3. Under heavy pressure after 86 minutes, the inexperienced Jurong struggled to maintain their level of play. 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) had a hard time on the waterlogged pitch - his trademark technique was nowhere in sight today. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Seytek Djekshenkulov from Grilled a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 88 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! 89 minutes in, Grilled appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only inadequate. After 89 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Jurong found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. Grilled claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim performed admirably for Grilled. However, 凌 (Ling) 福泉 (Fuquan) made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Jurong player was without a doubt Arthur Gourichon. Ang Fu Kok was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 3.
