Grilled broke through on the left 2 minutes into the game, with Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. 21 minutes in, Shining's Giulio Lo Bianco Corrado received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Seytek Djekshenkulov's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Grilled, he bravely continued in the match. Shining's Siegmund Sieslack had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 32 minutes having been played. Aleksi Vähäkuopus was the replacement. 33 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Grilled. Grilled managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. By then Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim had scored three goals - a hat trick! Confident in their lead, Grilled's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. After 39 minutes, Chow Ying Lee put Grilled ahead 4 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. After 40 minutes Shining's Giulio Lo Bianco Corrado contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. It was 4 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

Grilled's 朱 (Zhu) 长春 (Changchun) swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. The Grilled players could smell victory in the air. Alex Fonseca wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for 林 (Lin) 俊桂 (Jungui) after 60 minutes. Qassem Madaini almost put Grilled ahead another goal when he curled a free kick over the defensive wall and almost into the net, but the visitors' keeper got there just in time to knock it wide. 蔡 (Cai) 坤超 (Kunchao) could've grabbed a goal for Shining 62 minutes in when he got a pass from the left putting him free of the home side's defence, but he was unable to take advantage of the situation. Grilled put themselves up 5 - 0 when Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Chow Ying Lee almost managed to score another goal for Grilled, coming from the right, but his header was tipped over for a corner by the visitors' keeper. 蔡 (Cai) 坤超 (Kunchao) got left behind when Grilled's Chow Ying Lee made a sudden run forward after 75 minutes, finishing off with a neat strike. 6 - 0! Dexter Stacey made a brilliant save 80 minutes into the match, blocking a rocket of a shot from Siegwart Wörishofer on the right hand side. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grilled, with 54 percent of the ball.

Grilled's best player was Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim. However, Seytek Djekshenkulov made a disastrous appearance. Siegwart Wörishofer performed admirably for Shining. Idris Kamil turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 6 - 0.
