Grilled 9 - 0 Sučany
80 spectators arrived at The Cooking Pot, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.
Cincinat Coporan was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Fritz Udo Gstach and
Torsten Sturmfels. Grilled tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination. Starters: Stacey - 俊桂 (Jungui), Madaini - Iten, bin Jantan, 尊文 (Zunwen) , 长春 (Changchun), Djekshenkulov - bin Mohd Kassim, 勇航 (Yonghang) , Ying Lee.
Sučany decided to use a 2-5-3 set up. Lineup: Kivelä - Akselsen, Nepela - Zámocký, Carp, Homayouni, Lánik, Palluzzi - Rantamaa, Lacko, Dhiab.
Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. They were singing the praises of
田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) 19 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitor's keeper to make the score 1 - 0 for Grilled. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Grilled's
Chow Ying Lee putting the lead up to 2 - 0. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased Grilled's lead to 3 - 0 as
田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) finished it off competently, firing from an acute angle. Cheers filled the stadium as
田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the 4 - 0 goal for Grilled. At that,
田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) was noted down for a hat trick! Many in the crowd felt the referee was being too lenient when he only showed Grilled's
卢 (lu) 尊文 (Zunwen) a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 33 minutes into the game. It was 4 - 0 at the break. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 81 percent of possession.
田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) almost managed to score another goal for Grilled, coming from the right, but his header was tipped to a corner by the visitors' keeper.
Chow Ying Lee unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. Grilled managed to extend their lead to 5 - 0 when
Chow Ying Lee cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Confident in their lead, Grilled's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
Ezzedine Dhiab caught everyone off guard with a great opening pass - but unfortunately
Richard Zámocký was as surprised by the move as anybody else, and managed to miss the extraordinary opportunity. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Grilled's
朱 (Zhu) 长春 (Changchun) got himself booked. After 78 minutes, Grilled sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) , who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot and score the 6 - 0 goal. With 83 minutes played, Grilled put themselves up 7 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
Chow Ying Lee, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for
Chow Ying Lee.
林 (Lin) 俊桂 (Jungui) tipped the corner kick right to the keeper, who mishandled it, giving Grilled's
卢 (lu) 尊文 (Zunwen) a chance to knock it in for 8 - 0. 85 minutes into the game, Grilled were awarded a penalty that
Paolo Iten turned into 9 - 0 without a problem. Grilled's
Qassem Madaini wanted to play on, but 88 minutes into the game the decision was made to substitute him for
Slavcho Tzonkov. As the captain was no longer on the pitch,
Dexter Stacey took over the role of being the Grilled captain. As
林 (Lin) 俊桂 (Jungui) was substituted 88 minutes into the game, he could take comfort in the fact that his team was in the lead.
Yvan Lefébure was the replacement. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 85 percent possession of the ball.
Most important Grilled player was
Chow Ying Lee. However,
Yvan Lefébure made a disastrous appearance. Sučany's top performer was clearly
Richard Akselsen.
Marino Palluzzi on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 9 - 0.
