Grilled had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation. The following players took the field: Stacey - 俊桂 (Jungui), Tzonkov - Iten, bin Jantan, 尊文 (Zunwen), 长春 (Changchun), Djekshenkulov - bin Mohd Kassim, 勇航 (Yonghang), Ying Lee.

Arcturules clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. Grilled used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. 0 - 1 was the score with 14 minutes played, after Grilled's Chow Ying Lee cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) would have put Grilled up another goal 24 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. The goal to make it 1 - 1 was scored by Fu Lai Yeng after 25 minutes, following an opportunistic counterattack down the middle by Arcturules. Seytek Djekshenkulov sailed high above the opponents as he headed the 1 - 2 goal in on a corner kick from Paolo Iten after 27 minutes of play. Roger Vissenaekens of Arcturules was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. After 34 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 3. After this, you could see that the players of Grilled were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Arcturules almost scored after a counterattack 36 minutes into the match, but Roger Vissenaekens took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. The visitors' 田 (Tian) 勇航 (Yonghang) took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 41 minutes into the match. 1 - 4 for Grilled. 1 - 4 was the score after the first half. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 71 percent of possession.

The home crowd cheered when, after 54 minutes, 林 (Lin) 俊桂 (Jungui)'s charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. After 72 minutes, a deliberate handball from Arcturules's Roger Vissenaekens was judged to be his second bookable offence, and he was sent off. In a rapid move 76 minutes into the match, Chow Ying Lee of Grilled lost his man, passed the ball to the unmarked Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim who easily hit it home for the 1 - 5 goal. Luckily the ref didn't see him revealing a message on his vest in celebration! Grilled's Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim received a play slashing through the home side's central defence after 78 minutes, and chipped it past the keeper to score the 1 - 6 goal. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. Grilled's 卢 (lu) 尊文 (Zunwen) was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 80 minutes. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 72 percent.

Arcturules's top performer was clearly Sebastião Jesus. However, Sándor Bajusz made a disastrous appearance. Grilled's best player was Chow Ying Lee. On the other hand, Paolo Iten's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 6.
