Grilled's Seytek Djekshenkulov was shown a yellow card after 35 minutes for slicing down an opponent. During the break, Grilled's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation in time for the re-start. With 46 minutes played, the Grilled coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim came on, Li Boon Boon had to leave the fray. The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 51 minutes, Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper. Tonis Palavakis made a great block, though. 66 minutes into the game, Grilled seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to solid. With 72 minutes played, the visitors could have scored the tying goal after Teo Yong Yau came through the middle, but his kick went wide. The coach of United was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 75 minutes, Michał Pęksa came on for Tonis Palavakis. This half belonged to United, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

Luís Roberto Queirós performed admirably for United. Siewert Bragard on the other hand, had a terrible day. Grilled's best player was Mohd Safri bin Mohd Kassim. Teo Yong Yau turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 0.
