Grilled 2 - 2 Shining
ouds darkened the skies at The Cooking Pot as 38314 spectators turned up for the match.
Hellmut Rumpl was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Vitus Vetsch and
Marco Lamoureux. Grilled had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation. The following players had been chosen: Stacey - Chinchay, 俊桂 (Jungui) - Back, Pujolràs, Djekshenkulov, Fonseca, Dorogan - bin Mohd Kassim, bin Mohamad, Ying Lee.
Shining decided to use a 5-3-2 set up. The following players took the field: Nakip - bin Katmon, bin Nan, Rørstad, 坤超 (Kunchao) , bin Meri - Lezaun, Boross, Pierrot - Trielli, Võigemast.
Grilled tried to focus their attacks down the middle. Grilled was determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally.
Rosendo Chinchay gave Grilled the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the keeper's right post.
Martin Pierrot tied the game at 1 - 1 after 29 minutes, when he converted an incredible pass from the right. 34 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Grilled to take the lead after a good centering pass from the right found
Alex Fonseca alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 65 percent of possession.
As the 60 minute approached, the Grilled coach decided it was time for a substitution.
林 (Lin) 俊桂 (Jungui) reluctantly made way for
Yvan Lefébure on the pitch. 65 minutes into the game, Shining wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Martin Pierrot gave
Lin Khong Hai a quick hug as he left the field.
Rosendo Chinchay got left behind when Shining's
Markus Võigemast made a sudden pull forward after 65 minutes, finishing off with a swift strike. 1 - 2! Grilled put pressure on the visitors' central defence 66 minutes into the game, but
Gleb Dorogan couldn't find an opening. The corner kick from
Marc Pujolràs set
Yvan Lefébure up perfectly, as he soared to meet the ball, heading it in for 2 - 2. With 74 minutes played
Safri bin Mohamad almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide.
Antonio Trielli had a good try after 77 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide. This half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 62 percent of the time.
Chow Ying Lee performed admirably for Grilled. On the other hand,
Yvan Lefébure's play was disheartening. Most important Shining player was
Antonio Trielli.
Pedro Lezaun was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 2.
