Grilled 5 - 0 Chambone
80 spectators had come to The Cooking Pot this cloudy day.
Neven Kruneš was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Bernardo Layseca and
Luigi Nuccio. A 4-3-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Grilled. The following players took the field: Silvera - Stanca, Crkvenjakov, Madaini, Tzonkov - Lefébure, Djekshenkulov, Mourão - 修宇 (Xiuyu), Boon Boon, 勇航 (Yonghang).
Chambone had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. Lineup: De Fazio - Schlagbauer, Alcáçovas, Guimarães Ferreira - Rocha Tavares, Lopes, Beiziters, Wemans - Sousa, Puskás, Serralha.
Grilled was determined to use their long shot ability. Chambone seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. After 5 minutes Grilled showed some great patience outside the penalty area, waiting until
Niculae Stanca could find the right opportunity to finish off the attack from distance. The long shot, however, was an easy catch for
Andrea De Fazio. With 14 minutes played
Yvan Lefébure almost gave the home side the lead with an unexpected free kick set up, but the visitors'
Andrea De Fazio was onto it, grabbing the would be breakthrough ball.
范 (Fan) 修宇 (Xiuyu) of Grilled was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
Vukota Crkvenjakov's name was chanted throughout the stadium after his goal up the middle after 30 minutes gave Grilled the 1 - 0 lead.
Li Boon Boon increased Grilled's lead to 2 - 0, putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. This half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 62 percent of the time.
Grilled put themselves up 3 - 0 when
Yvan Lefébure broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him. After this, you could see that the players of Grilled were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Chambone's
Jorge Veríssimo Rocha Tavares had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 65 minutes having been played.
José Pinto Correia was the replacement. Grilled's slick passing moves completely confused the defence after 67 minutes, but thanks to
Andrea De Fazio's miraculous save from
Vukota Crkvenjakov's long shot the score remained unchanged. After 71 minutes, Grilled's
Yvan Lefébure found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 4 - 0. Grilled's
Li Boon Boon was delighted to score the 5 - 0 goal after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper and into the net, following some good attacking movement on the right wing after 77 minutes. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Grilled coach let
Erik Back replace
Edvaldo Mourão after 80 minutes. The Grilled players could smell victory in the air.
Vukota Crkvenjakov wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
Björn Olsson after 80 minutes. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Grilled, with an impressive 66 percent possession of the ball.
Grilled's top performer was clearly
Seytek Djekshenkulov.
Alvaro Silvera was a disappointment, however.
Viktor Puskás performed admirably for Chambone. On the other hand,
Bento Sousa's play was disheartening. The match ends 5 - 0.
