heimu 0 - 6 Grilled

rk skies made the crowd of 65451 at Blackwood Field a little nervous, but the rain held off. Thor Engen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Julian Mauritz and Janick Verwoert. heimu started off with a ‭3-5-2‬ lineup. They fielded: Lemons - Kwang Ping, Belén, Jing Hin - Ricart, 偌庆 (Ruoqing), Konupka, Dolce, Mariluan - 崇育 (Chongyu), Gießen.

Grilled had chosen a strategic ‭2-5-3‬ formation. The following players had been chosen: Dias Paes - Josefsson, 俊桂 (Jungui) - Back, Kim, Pujolràs, Lefébure, Dorogan - Ying Lee, Bögengang, bin Mohamad.

Grilled used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when Yvan Lefébure slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against Anésio Lemons, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. Many in the crowd felt the referee was being too lenient when he only showed Grilled's Safri bin Mohamad a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 28 minutes into the game. A loud groan was heard from the fans of heimu, as Seah Kwang Ping left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. Rocco Zannoni took his place on the field. After 34 minutes, Grilled's Domenik Bögengang made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. A thrilling play through the middle 36 minutes into the match gave Grilled's Yvan Lefébure a chance to increase the lead, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. It was 0 - 2 at the break. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

The referee signalled a penalty 56 minutes into the game following an offence just inside of the box. Domenik Bögengang knocked home the 0 - 3 goal just outside the reach of the goalkeeper. After 63 minutes, Domenik Bögengang sent the corner kick right to Yvan Lefébure who headed it sharply past the keeper. 0-4! Erik Back made one of his many fine passes from the wing into the middle 64 minutes into the match. Domenik Bögengang bravely attempted to execute a diving header and the ball was met firmly with his forehead for Grilled. 0 - 5. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for Domenik Bögengang. Arnošt Konupka of heimu was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The visitors nearly scored again after 81 minutes, but a superb save by Anésio Lemons kept Domenik Bögengang's free kick out of the net. The defenders were clearly outwitted by Grilled after 82 minutes. The disciplined free kick combination shifted the ball quickly to one side of the box, then back to the other. Gleb Dorogan appeared on cue near the post, and steered it past the goalie. 0 - 6. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Grilled lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Grilled enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.

heimu's best player was Sebastián Guillermo Belén. On the other hand, Anésio Lemons's play was disheartening. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Domenik Bögengang. Anders Josefsson was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 6.
