Grilled mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. Mazlan Ezrain Shamsudin was called on to replace Wandering's Aizal bin Mohd Aziz after 41 minutes following a nasty collision. 0 - 0 was the halftime score. This half belonged to Grilled, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

Niculae Stanca would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. Anders Josefsson entered the game for Grilled as the match clock showed 46 minutes. After 46 minutes, the Grilled coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Roberto Mausisa off the field. Edvaldo Mourão took his place. 57 minutes into the game, Marc Pujolràs had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. After 62 minutes, Grilled sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached Safri bin Mohamad, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot and score the 0 - 1 goal. Despite having a free kick in a decent position 64 minutes in, Wandering tried a variation that brought the ball through to the other end of the penalty area. However, Nathan Van Malderen did not manage to connect with it, as his team mates had hoped, and the ball went out. Wandering's Quentin Nicolas had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 67 minutes having been played. Eng Li De was the replacement. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

Wandering's best player was Nicolai Rauff. Faziallah bin Hashim was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Valdir Dias Paes. Edvaldo Mourão turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 1.
