Hecken 4 - 1 Grilled

irly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 8542 to Hecken Aerodome. Bobo Böttner was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Dagbjartur Ingileifsson and Damian O'Neill. Hecken had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Estrine - Bavink, Bjärnsson, Flamdahl - Beylau, Eden, Goeldel, Dehlman, Rosset - Enache, Kok-Siong.

Grilled tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Huel-sheng - bin Che Lah, Pakpao, Siu-Cheung - Ze, Siu-Yue, Kolesov, Blissenbach, Åhsten - Chiew-Yen, Stern.

Grilled were relying on their ability to counter-attack. Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted in a goal after 7 minutes by George Enache for Hecken, putting them ahead 1 - 0. Mickaël Estrine became the hero of the day for the home crowd as he saved a penalty by Joe Stern after 11 minutes. Tim Blissenbach finished off the counterattack from the left rather easily, scoring 1 - 1 for Grilled. Hecken took the lead 25 minutes into the game by 2 to 1, as Peter Flamdahl elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. 2 - 1 was the halftime score. Hecken held the ball, with a clear 70 percent of possession.

Hecken added another goal to their lead as Emmanuel Beylau struck home the 3 - 1 goal after an attack from the left set him up unmarked in front of the keeper. Li Ze of Grilled received a yellow card after 49 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. After 73 minutes, George Enache put Hecken ahead 4 - 1 when he rose to head in a hooked ball, the result of an effort from the right side. After this, Hecken lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. With 76 minutes played, Hecken's Hubert Rosset fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Hubert Rosset for diving. With 77 minutes played, Grilled's Chen Chiew-Yen fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Chen Chiew-Yen for diving. Hecken claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 78 percent.

Hecken's best player was Johan Eden. Xavier Goeldel was a disappointment, however. Most important Grilled player was Chen Chiew-Yen. Li Ze on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 1.
