Grilled 0 - 2 CFC

448 spectators had come to The Cooking Pot this cloudy day. Markus Grööngren was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jussi-Petteri Kautio and Björn Renstedt. People from all over had joined up for the derby. Grilled had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players took the field: Abed-Sulaiman - Fredgård, Kek-Tjiang, Zywczyn - van Liere, Han Kok, Rottman, Paullin, Spirig - Kadak, Martinsson.

CFC started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Pakiet - Mulrain, Lucchese, Chih-Chien - Boroffka, Leng Li, Orban, Thiébeaux, Davis - Himes, Månsson.

With 21 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. Geppino Lucchese put the ball away for 0 - 1. 25 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as Jordan Himes finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. At this point in the game, defending their lead became the main priority for CFC. Stu Davis of CFC received a yellow card after 26 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Hidde van Liere tried to get a goal back for his Grilled but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete. CFC's counterattacks created a good chance for Hendrik-Jan Boroffka on the right, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. CFC came close to extending their lead as Bay Mulrain delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 39 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. Grilled's Anders Fredgård was shown a yellow card after 41 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Neither team was controlling the action at this point in the match.

Just a few inches to the right, and the visitors could have had a goal 59 minutes into the match. Geppino Lucchese surely wishes he could do that free kick over again. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, Hendrik-Jan Boroffka would have put CFC up another goal 66 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams.

Grilled's best player was Ahmed Abed-Sulaiman. However, Dani Spirig made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating CFC player was without a doubt Andrzej Pakiet. However, Bay Mulrain made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 2.
