Grilled 7 - 0 Even

brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 43000 to Gamma Stadium. Juan Olivera was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Bartholomé Bolmain and Trond Lund. Grilled started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Bao-Tam - Siu-Cheung, Tuan-Mu, Sun-Nee - Noor Yadah, Ju-Hau, Tellskär, Kek-Tjiang, Dai-Lin - Chiew-Yen, Reed.

Even tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. They fielded: Lon-chan - Po-Fat, Dzung-Trung, Tzs-Lun - Bhaskaran, Tronstad, Kroese, Palmer, Dorgon - Thanh-long, Kok-hei.

Aznan Noor Yadah gave Grilled the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the keeper's right post. Chen Chiew-Yen increased Grilled's lead to 2 - 0, putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. Grilled put themselves up 3 - 0 when Chen Chiew-Yen broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him. Mar Dzung-Trung of Even received a yellow card after 35 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Grilled added another goal to their lead as Miguel Reed struck home the 4 - 0 goal after an attack from the left set him up unmarked in front of the keeper. The structure of the game started to change as Grilled decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. Chen Chiew-Yen increased Grilled's lead to 5 - 0, putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. By then Chen Chiew-Yen was a three time scorer - a hat trick! Halftime score was 5 - 0. Grilled held the ball, with a clear 63 percent of possession.

Aznan Noor Yadah was doing a great job on his wing, sending in brilliant passes to his teammates in the middle, but Ma Dai-Lin seemed unable to profit from this excellent service. Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile Ma Dai-Lin. 69 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Miguel Reed dashed through, knocking home 6 - 0 for Grilled. Even had a fair chance to reply after 82 minutes due to some fine moves down the left, but in the end Eric Palmer was slow to keep up with the play and was unable to make it into the penalty box to apply a finish. Grilled put themselves up 7 - 0 when Daniel Tellskär broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Grilled's Daniel Tellskär got himself booked. After 87 minutes Even's Bredo Tronstad limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. The referee showed Grilled's Chen Chiew-Yen the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Loong Thanh-long was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Even's Juang Do-jung had to come off the bench. Grilled claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

Most important Grilled player was Ma Dai-Lin. Kau Siu-Cheung on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Even player was Eric Palmer. Bredo Tronstad on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 7 - 0.
