Anfield had a brilliant opportunity to reply as Tomas Irhall received a high ball from the right, striking the ball in the air. Only Ahmed Abed-Sulaiman's reflexes saved him. Grilled's Jörgen Falkbo received a play slashing through the home side's central defense after 86 minutes, and chipped it past the keeper to score the 0 - 3 goal. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. The structure of the game started to change as Grilled decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. Anfield's ZhangCai Yongye managed a superb strike from the left after 89 minutes that would have left goalkeeper Ahmed Abed-Sulaiman without a chance, had it not hit the post. Anfield claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

Most important Anfield player was Jack Motley. Nejc Molan on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Ahmed Abed-Sulaiman. Terkel Borup was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
