Grilled saw most attack opportunities on the wings. Some great play up the middle by Thorocozzieq led to a chance for Argun Doğruer to get the go-ahead goal after 10 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Chong Feng Han, but the Thorocozzieq player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! Thorocozzieq put in a good effort on the right, but Antonio David Antolínez saw his volley fly wide of the mark 20 minutes into the game. The visiting team's Matthias Branbilla was able to score the 1 - 1 equaliser with a header 32 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. Thorocozzieq held the ball, with a clear 55 percent of possession.

Grilled took the lead after 50 minutes with 1 - 2. John MacKinnon placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 60 minutes into the match, an alert Mohd Zaharul Aiman bin Mohd Derus bagged the ball for Thorocozzieq, levelling the score to 2 - 2. Antonio David Antolínez gave Thorocozzieq the lead with 3 - 2, as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the keeper's right post. Thorocozzieq claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

Thorocozzieq's top performer was clearly Mohd Zaharul Aiman bin Mohd Derus. Argun DoÄŸruer turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Grilled player was without a doubt Matthias Branbilla. On the other hand, Zulkiflee bin Othman's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 2.
